Who are French-language reports built for?

This release supports Canadian asset managers distributing materials nationally, national firms serving clients across Canada, and Québec-based advisors, where French-language client materials are a standard expectation in meetings, reviews, proposals, and enterprise evaluations.

Does this release translate the entire YCharts platform into French?

No. French-language reports apply to PDF reports created in Report Builder. The YCharts platform and Report Builder interface remain in English.

Are all metrics and modules available in French?

Most standard Report Builder modules are supported, along with approximately 2,100 metric labels covering the categories most commonly used in client reports. If a metric label does not yet have a French translation, it displays in English rather than blocking the report.

Can firms add their own French content to a report?

Yes. Custom module titles and disclosure text can be entered in French directly in Report Builder, the same way they would be entered in English. Custom text is not auto-translated, so teams provide it in the language they want it to appear.

How do firms get started with French-language reports?

Firms turn on French-language reporting through their YCharts account team. Prebuilt French templates, including Overview, Comparison, and Multi-Comp, are available to help teams start quickly and customize from there.
